On Friday, Feb. 7, former Brookings High School standout Jake Ammann’s college team won in an NCAA Division II baseball game

On Friday, Feb. 7, former Brookings High School standout Jake Ammann’s current college team, the Sioux Falls Cougars, won 11-10 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Hawaii–Hilo Vulcans.

The game took place at Francis Wong Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Vulcans this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 2 p.m. at Francis Wong Stadium against Hawaii–Hilo Vulcans.
