Census Bureau: More women than men in Groton in 2019

Of the 1,673 people living in Groton in 2019, 53.6 percent (897) were women and 46.4 percent (776) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Northeast South Dakota News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 445-to-427. In the 65 and over age range, there were 185 females and 129 males.
