Rep. Dusty Johnson, who has represented South Dakota’s at-large district in the U.S. Congress since 2019, recently shared a series of posts on social media highlighting his legislative views and community engagements.

On September 16, 2025, Johnson commented on changes to federal land management policies: "I’m glad to see that @Interior is rolling back a Biden-era Public Lands Rule that would have prohibited many activities on multiple-use lands. Americans should be able to use these lands as they see fit – from livestock grazing to mining to recreation."

The following day, Johnson acknowledged the anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution: "On September 17, 1787, our founders signed the Constitution in Philadelphia. It’s important to recognize and celebrate this bedrock document of the United States."

Later that evening, he shared his appreciation for service members: "I stopped by the DC Armory to say thank you to South Dakota National Guard who are currently serving here."

Johnson has served as South Dakota’s at-large congressional representative since 2019 after succeeding Kristi Noem. He was born in Pierre, South Dakota in 1976 and currently resides in Mitchell. Johnson graduated from the University of South Dakota with a bachelor’s degree in 1999.
