Project Update
The project was awarded to Bowes Construction in the fall of 2021. Construction started in the fall of 2021 and is ongoing. This project is being overseen by SDDOT who has hired Banner Associates Inc with HDR Engineering to assist with the construction administration. Route/Detour Information
Starting the week of August 14th, the intersection of 22nd Avenue South and 20th Street South will be closed for construction. The closure is expected to last about 45 calendar days. During the construction work, the intersection will be completely closed to all traffic. Please see the detour route below and follow the posted signs for the detour route.
