Visiting Artist Reception Set for Monday, Oct. 17, in Jfac Gallery

Northern State University will host a reception for Jason Briggs, Northern’s first visiting artist of the academic year, on Monday, Oct. 17. 

Briggs’ reception will be held 6:30-8 p.m. Monday in the Johnson Fine Arts Center Gallery. At 7 p.m., he will give a brief artist talk about his display, “Touch,” which is a walkthrough exhibition of porcelain works.

The reception is free and open to the public. Briggs’ artwork will be on display in the JFAC Gallery through Nov. 18. The public is welcome to view it during gallery hours: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, and during the evenings of NSU fine arts events.
