Residential collection customers may sign up to receive holiday garbage collection date notifications by email or text message on your phone. To sign up for the holiday garbage collection notifications
- Go to www.watertownsd.us
- Click the Notify Me button located at the bottom of the home page.
- Enter your email address and click the Sign In button.
- Scroll down and select Holiday Garbage Collection in the New Flash area.
- Click the Phone and/or Email icons to receive the notifications.
- If you click the Phone icon, you will be required to enter your phone number.
- Finally click Save.
Please refer to the 2023 Refuse & Recycling Manual for a map of the Watertown solid waste collection route days, the list of 2023 holidays including the collection date for the particular holiday, and a color coded calendar that shows recycling, garbage, and yard waste collection days throughout 2023.
General information regarding the Landfill including location, hours of operation, container repair, and rates is located on the City’s website at www.watertownsd.us.
