Census Bureau: 77.8% of people in Grant County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 7,550 citizens living in Grant County in 2021, 77.8% were old enough to vote, equating to 5,873 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 3,076 were male, constituting 52.4%, and 2,797 were female, making up 47.6%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Grant County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 75.2%.
