Rep. Dusty Johnson, a member of the U.S. Congress representing South Dakota's at-large district since 2019, has recently shared his thoughts and activities on social media. Johnson, who succeeded Kristi Noem in Congress, was born in Pierre, South Dakota in 1976 and currently resides in Mitchell. He graduated from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999.

On December 4, 2024, Rep. Dusty Johnson emphasized the need for legislative action by stating "IT’S TIME. Let’s secure the border, cut spending, and roll back unnecessary regulations."

The following day, December 5, 2024, he reflected on the past year while also hinting at upcoming tasks by tweeting "My 2024 year in review — and we’ve got a busy few weeks ahead!"

Later that same day, Johnson mentioned an upcoming meeting with a playful reference to cryptocurrency by posting "Headed to a meeting with the new DOGE "
