Rep. Dusty Johnson, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing South Dakota's at-large district since 2019, shared his views on various issues through a series of tweets. Born in Pierre, South Dakota, in 1976 and currently residing in Mitchell, Johnson is a graduate of the University of South Dakota.

On January 21, 2025, Rep. Johnson addressed the lengthy nature of America's permitting process. He expressed his intention to collaborate with "@TransportGOP to reform our permitting process and let America build."

The following day, on January 22, 2025, Rep. Johnson reiterated his commitment to addressing concerns related to China. He stated that he has been active in legislation aimed at countering China's efforts to acquire sensitive data and engage in unfair practices: "I won’t stop now – there’s more work to be done."
