Rep. Dusty Johnson, a U.S. Congressman representing South Dakota’s at-large district since 2019, has been active in engaging with various communities and institutions in his state. On January 30, 2025, Rep. Dusty Johnson tweeted about his visit to Dakota Wesleyan University where he engaged with students on several topics including innovation and Trump's executive orders. He emphasized the value of higher education and critical thinking during his visit to a class that is part of the TRIO program. "I had a great time visiting students at Dakota Wesleyan today."
