Rep. Dusty Johnson, a member of the U.S. Congress representing South Dakota's at-large district, has been vocal about various issues on social media. His recent tweets cover topics from government spending to discussions with constituents and students.

On February 18, 2025, Rep. Dusty Johnson expressed his views on the current administration's impact in Washington. He stated, "The Trump Admin is shaking up a lot in Washington and rightly so. The waste, fraud, and abuse of government spending must end in order to tackle the ballooning national debt."

Later that day, Johnson visited the Tieszen Memorial Home to engage with residents about fiscal policies. In his tweet from February 18, he mentioned their consensus on certain budgetary matters: "I visited the Tieszen Memorial Home to meet the residents and chat about what is going on in Washington, DC. We talked about the urgent need to cut spending and we all agreed NOT to cut Social Security and Medicare."

On February 19, Johnson interacted with students at Canistota High School. Reflecting on this visit via Twitter, he noted their awareness of current issues: "I met with juniors and seniors at Canistota High School who had great questions about DOGE, TikTok, tariffs, and more. They certainly are well acquainted with current events!"
