Rep. Dusty Johnson, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing South Dakota’s at-large district, shared a series of tweets on May 20, 2025, highlighting several legislative initiatives aimed at enhancing various sectors within the United States.

In his first tweet, Johnson stated that "It doubles funding for trade programs so American-grown products reach more global markets." This initiative is expected to expand the international presence of American agricultural products.

Continuing with his focus on agriculture, Johnson tweeted that "It boosts defenses against foreign animal diseases that threaten our livestock and poultry industries." This measure aims to protect vital sectors from external biological threats.

Lastly, Johnson emphasized support for education by noting that "It provides critical funding for rural schools on national service lands." This funding is intended to bolster educational resources in rural areas.
