U.S. Senator John Thune of South Dakota has expressed approval following the Senate's passage of a Republican-led reconciliation bill. The legislation aims to provide lasting tax relief for families and small businesses in South Dakota, enhance the agriculture sector for farmers and ranchers, and allocate resources for the B-21 bomber mission at Ellsworth Air Force Base.

Senator Thune stated, "The Senate’s reconciliation bill will put more money in the pockets of South Dakota families and strengthen farms, ranches, and small businesses across our state for generations to come." He added that this historic legislation offers an opportunity to make the country safer, stronger, and more prosperous.

Key components of the bill include making permanent the 2017 Republican-led tax cuts. The measure is designed to benefit South Dakota families financially while encouraging economic growth by supporting small businesses and family-owned farms. Additionally, it provides crucial support for agricultural producers and rural communities within the state.

The legislation also focuses on bolstering national security through its investment in Ellsworth Air Force Base's mission. Furthermore, it aims to increase American energy independence and reduce waste, fraud, and abuse in federal programs.

Senator Thune emphasized his anticipation of these pro-growth policies benefiting South Dakotans: "I look forward to getting these pro-growth policies working for the people of South Dakota."
