The bill seeks to enhance military readiness by ending funding for DEI, gender-affirming care, and abortions.
The Trump Administration is moving to prohibit purchases of U.S. farmland by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The CCP currently owns 265,000 acres of U.S. farmland and has increased its land holdings outside China by 1,000% over a decade. Concerns have been raised about China's acquisitions of U.S. food processing plants, which could potentially impact control over the food supply chain. Additionally, China's land purchases near military bases pose national security threats.
President Trump has reportedly made significant progress in securing the southern border with a noted decrease in border encounters since taking office. Recent reports indicate two consecutive months with zero illegal immigrant crossings into the U.S. Congress has supported these efforts through the One Big Beautiful Bill, which allocates funds to complete the border wall, hire additional ICE and Customs personnel, and improve border security technology.
