Rep. Dusty Johnson, U.S. Congressman representing South Dakota’s at-large district since 2019, recently highlighted local events and legislative initiatives in a series of posts on social media.
On August 4, Johnson expressed gratitude to law enforcement and acknowledged the efforts of officers during the Sturgis rally: "Thank you to Sherrif Pat West for hosting a law enforcement appreciation event in Sturgis to thank officers for their tireless protection of our state. Johnson has served as South Dakota's representative since replacing Kristi Noem in 2019. He was born in Pierre in 1976 and currently resides in Mitchell. Johnson is an alumnus of the University of South Dakota.
