Rep. Dusty Johnson, who represents South Dakota’s at-large district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted his office's constituent services and legislative priorities in a series of posts on social media.
On August 13, 2025, Johnson shared his office’s efforts to assist constituents: "Every year, my office helps hundreds of families navigate the federal bureaucracy. I’m grateful we were able to serve the Biliaze family in their time of need."
Later that day, Johnson discussed agricultural policy alongside Rep. Adrian Smith of Nebraska at a regional event: "I joined Rep. Adrian Smith of Nebraska at the Midwest Ag Export Summit to discuss how Midwest agricultural producers compete in the global market. The One Big Beautiful Bill promotes U.S. ag products around the world and helps develop foreign markets for American products."
On August 15, 2025, Johnson addressed ethics in government by referencing local support for restricting stock trading by lawmakers: "The Brown County Fair agrees with me — Members of Congress should not be allowed to buy or sell stock."
Johnson has represented South Dakota’s at-large congressional district since 2019 after succeeding Kristi Noem. Born in Pierre, South Dakota in 1976 and currently residing in Mitchell, Johnson is an alumnus of the University of South Dakota (BA, 1999).
